School uniform

We are proud of the uniform worn by our pupils at Chartridge and we appreciate parents' support in ensuring all our children follow our uniform policy and look smart at school.

These orders can either be collected from school, or for a small charge delivered to home. 

Ordered items are delivered to school every Wednesday.  Any returns or exchanges brought into school by parents will also be collected and delivered each week on Wednesday.  Please contact Different Class with any enquiries regarding the purchase of school uniform items.  Chartridge School Association run regular School Shops where you can purchase second hand uniform in the dining hall.  

KS1

 

Mid-grey trousers (or shorts) or bottle green pinafore*

 

White Polo shirt (open neck style)

Bottle green V-neck sweatshirt or cardigan with logo*

Grey or white socks/bottle green tights* (not trainer socks)socks

 Yellow gingham or striped summer dress 

(optional)* After Easter to October half term

Black shoes (no trainers or flashing lights) or white closed toe sandals with summer dress

 

KS2

White long sleeved or short sleeved shirt or blouse

Green and Gold tie*

 

 Black, grey or white socks (not trainer socks) or bottle green tights*

P.E. Kit

White T-shirt with green trim*,

bottle green shorts*,

black or white plimsolls,

white socks.

Black or dark green tracksuit (optional).

Coats should be deemed suitable for school. Leather, denim and bold logos are not permitted.

A school jacket* is available.

If hair bands/clips are worn, they should be plain green, grey, black, yellow or yellow check.

If hair is long enough to be tied back, it should be.

No hair should be shorter than a ‘number 2’ and there should be no tramlines shaved into it.

We recommend that all children wear a hat during sunny summer days. Plain green*, black, white or straw.

Every child should have a painting overall in school.

The only jewellery permitted is a watch. If there are cultural reasons for other jewellery to be worn, parents are asked to write a letter to the headteacher.

  • From Year 4, specialist games kit may be required and details will be provided.
  • All items of school uniform should be clearly marked with the pupil’s name. 
  • P.E. kit should remain in school all week, and can be taken home at the weekend for washing
